Sony's NEX 6 is an upper mid-range mirrorless system camera, which slots between the NEX 5R and the top-end NEX 7. In many respects it's a cross between them, sharing the body shape, tilting screen, OLED viewfinder and popup flash of the NEX 7, and the 16 Megapixel sensor, phase-detect AF assistance and built-in Wifi and downloadable apps of the NEX 5R. Unique to the NEX 6 though are its standard flash hotshoe and exposure model dial.
